Betha Gutsche

Betha Gutsche, a virtual librarian since receiving her MLIS from the University of Washington Information School began her library career at WebJunction as the Community Associate where she facilitated discussion forums, hosted live online events, and published stories about the library community. Now, as a Program Manager for e-learning initiatives, she is involved in needs assessment, e-learning design, webinars, and all things connected to social learning in the online world. Betha is the editor-in-chief of the recently published Competency Index for the Library Field. She is also interested in increasing the visual literacy skills of the field and introducing people to the power of image.
